SINOPSIS Jonathan Graves hereda la mansion de su tio, el famoso satanista Malcolm Graves. En la fiesta de inauguracion de su nueva casa, decide inspirarse en una serie de rituales satanicos para dar una sorpresa a los presentes, pero algo terrible sucede... Conjura a una horda de pequenos "Goblins" llamados Ghoulies. Estos pequenos y malevolos espiritus intentaran por todos los medios crear un ritual, en el cual sacrificarian a todos los presentes, para que asi se abran las puertas del infierno y escape el mismisimo Diablo... Considerados como una copia cutre de "Gremlins" de serie B (apenas costo 1 millon de dolares), obtuvo sin embargo un considerable exito de taquilla, principalmente en el -entonces emergente- mercado de video, siendo tan rentable (recaudo solo en USA 35 millones de dolares) que propicio que se hicieran varias secuelas.
